The art season in Laguna Beach flourishes year round with First Thursdays Art Walk. This educational monthly art event, held on the first Thursday of every month from 6 – 9pm, celebrates the diverse cultural art scene of Laguna Beach and is free to the public. Member galleries and sponsors invite you to visit during art walk and enjoy their exhibitions, entertainment and special events. 


Free trolley service for art walk starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 9:30 pm. Trolleys begin at the Laguna Art Museum (north) and Bluebird Canyon Road (south). The trolley route runs as far north as Jasmine Street, up Laguna Canyon Road as far as Canyon Acres, and south to Diamond Street. Map


Metered parking is available along Coast Hwy. and a few blocks inland on either side of the street and is free after 7:00 pm. If you prefer, you may park in the residential area located 2-3 blocks inland from Coast Hwy.



Cove Gallery

Featuring various paintings by Cove Gallery veteran, Bill Knauer, including dramatic scenes from his travels. Works in oil and acrylic on canvas are Bill’s depiction of events, experiences, and places such as Italy, Switzerland, Tahiti, Germany, and Croatia. His bold use of shape and color has developed into a unique impressionistic style. Bill is often commissioned to create paintings of memories from around the world. 
Cove Galley is also excited to feature pottery by Laguna Beach High School student, Emma Bladergroen.


Mike Tauber
Running until January 10th, foaSouth, a Festival of Arts sponsored gallery is featuring Mike Tauber, a well recognized artist who specializes in ceramic tile compositions that range from coastlines to vintage cars. His glazing applications are uniquely his own, with color transitions and compositional perspectives that show how skilled he is.
The show will continue until January 10, 2020.

It’s Still Political – A Group Exhibition
November 7 to November 29, 2019
Please join us Thursday November 7, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm for the artist reception which will include art, live music and more.

Can art make a difference or persuade? Can art cause people to think and evaluate fact from fiction? Should we simply agree to disagree or should we stand up and do something?

These are just some of the questions Las Laguna Gallery asked artists to think about.

This November Las Laguna Gallery located on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach is attempting to tackle these questions and more with their “It’s Still Political” exhibition. Selected from hundreds of submissions around the globe this exhibition features works that deal with gun control, the opioid epidemic, religious rights, women rights, and politics.

Laguna College of Art + Design’s (LCAD) MFA and BFA programs in Drawing + Painting are proud to present In Search of the Real III, a collection of original works from the College’s esteemed graduate and undergraduate fine arts faculty.

The exhibition is comprised of drawings, paintings and sculptures dedicated to contemporary views of the figure, landscape, and still life. Each artist is a current LCAD faculty member and is dedicated both to expanding representational art and to mentoring a new generation of contemporary representational artists.

Signature Gallery
